Alabama Legislature Considering Constitutional Carry Bill
During this year’s legislative session, Alabama legislators introduced Senate Bill 24, which would repeal the permit requirement for concealed firearms carry in the state. If the bill passes and is signed into law, Alabama will join about a dozen other states that enjoy “constitutional carry.” You can track the status of the bill at the Alabama Legislature’s website—as of April 6, the bill is being debated in the Judiciary committee.
