CORBON's Traditional Jacketed Hollow Point ammunition made its reputation with "high velocity" loads. This high velocity, combined with our exclusively designed, jacketed hollow point bullets, makes for a very effective self-defensive load. Penetration and expansion in our test medium of 10% ballistic gelatin are excellent; expansion is consistently 2 times the original diameter of the bullet. Depending on caliber and bullet weight, penetration is between 9 and 14 inches.
At CORBON, we believe that velocity is king! Higher energies enhance bullet performance and increase stopping power.

The information below comes from our Gun Caliber Dictionary and is for
general reference only. It does not describe the specifications of this
particular item.
Introduced in 1994, the 357 SIG is a rimless cartridge for semiautomatic handguns created by necking down the 40 S&W case to take a 9mm (.355-inch). Gains in velocity--and thus penetration--without dramatic increase in recoil are significant, with a 115-grain bullet at 1500 feet per second and a 125-grain bullet at 1350 fps. The 357 SIG has been adopted by some law enforcement agencies, but has not yet become a popular sporting cartridge. It is available from most major handgun ammunition manufacturers.
