Sellier & Bellot Ammunition has a semi-jacketed bullet with a SOFT POINT CUT-THROUGH EDGE (SPCE) in the jacket which partially locks the lead core at the same time. The bullet effect depends on the target resistance. It gets deformed in light game to a lesser extent than in heavy game. It is appropriate for clawed game hunting.

The 7X65R (7X65R Brenneke) is the rimmed version of the 7X64mm, introduced by Brenneke at the same time as the 7X64mm and intended for use in single-shots and double rifles. 7X65R is loaded to slightly less pressure (and thus lower velocity) than 7X64mm, but is still very similar to the 280 Remington, thus offering some of the best performance on medium-sized big game among all rimmed cartridges.
