This a good loking well made firearm. However the trigger guard shipped for installation was longer (m larger0 than the one pictured in advertisements. It required slight modifications -not a problem- but because fron of trigger assembly screws to front of trigger guard, it moves the trigger guard rearward . This reduces the available length of handle to a too short grip. I could barely get a full two fingers wrapped around the handle. The design of the pistol makes the front heavy and thereis not enough handle. I will have to shoot this one two-handed only. the barrel only fastens to the wood at the tang and at the brass cap at the front with a tiny - (one only) #6 or smaller - machine screw. No heavy loads through this animal. marked it down for these two reasons. but good weapon for the price. A better (shorter) trigger guard and a flat pin through the barrel and stock would move it up to a "5"
A lot of fun to put together and assemble next step is the range. Only wish there was a lefty version of this as well.
