Best binoculars that I have ever owned. I hunt a lot all over the world and many of my guides or PH's have Swarovski binoculars that cost close to $3,000.00. These Nikon binoculars are not quite that good but very close and certainly good enough where it's not worth spending $2,500 more for the the next step up. I'm not generally a Nikon fan as far as their rifle scopes go, I prefer Leuplod scopes but these Monarch 7 binoculars are better than any Leuplod's I have used. But to be fair I have not tried every Leupold model. Having a good pair of binoculars is very important to long rang hunting, Prairie dog shooting and even hunting in dense brush in Africa. The High Definition ED glass may sound like just another gimmick until you;re out in the field. You will pick up game quicker and farther than you will with other types of binoculars. Many hunter put more money in to their gun than their optics but most highly experienced hunter and pros will tell you less gun better optic is better, that goes for your scope as well as your binoculars.
