The Vortek StrikerFire is the newest innovation in muzzleloaders with a revolutionary striker fired design! Traditions has done away with the external hammer and replaced it with an internal striker fired system. The gun is cocked by simply sliding the striker button forward and into its locked position. It features a recessed decocker and the gun is automatically decocked when the breach is open. This fantastic new black powder rifle combines all of the features Traditions is known for into one firearm. The StrikerFire's 28" Chromoly tapered and fluted barrel makes it perfect for any application, from shots thru dense brush to long range across a field. It comes with a bore sighted matte black 3-9x40 rangefinding scope, a solid aluminum ramrod, and Quick-T ramrod handle. It features the Speed Load System for easy bullet starting and the Dual Safety System making it one of the safest guns available. The Vortek is also equipped with the Accelerator Breech Plug. This award winning breech plug removes in three full rotations and requires no tools!
