Cimarron 1897 Pump Shotgun
Blue steel frame. All American Walnut Wood Stock. Blued Finish.
The Winchester Model 1897 was already popular when World War I broke out, but it was after the war that sales truly picked up. A 20" barrel version of it became known as the M97, or Trench Gun, and it was used with great success in the brutal trench warfare of that conflict. This is an external hammer, pump action shotgun that lacks a trigger disconnector, which means the user can hold the trigger down and the shotgun will fire each time the action is cycled. It was produced up until 1957, and many are still in use today. This modern reproduction by Cimarron is faithful to the orginal.
