Product Summary

The P415 was engineered over 10 years ago to be virtually unstoppable in unfavorable conditions. It is a product of continuous development and improvement to the AR platform that no other rifle company has attempted. The reliability has been tested time after time, and the operating system perfected. E2 Extraction Technology, complete ambidextrous fire controls, modular free floating rail platform, and numerous internal improvements make it the pinnacle of all-purpose 5.56 caliber sporting rifles.

We’ve cut the bulk. To minimize weight and maximize shooter comfort, the new P415 Edge features a redesigned handguard, reducing the size from the original by nearly 20%, making the width a mere 1.75 inches. Not only does this drop the weight down to 7 lbs, it provides even better ergonomics to the shooter. The P415 simply will not fail when you need it most.

POF has said these will be a "Limited Production Item" so order yours now to get this great rifle at an outstanding price. The normal version of this rifle sales for $1899 so take advantage of this while you can.

Caliber Dictionary

The Below Information Has Been Provided From Our Gun Caliber Dictionary And Is Meant For Informational Purposes Only. It Is Not Intended to Describe The Unique Specifications For This Ammunition.
Introduced in 1964, the 223 Remington is the civilian version of the 5.56x45mm NATO cartridge. Although very similar to the 222 Remington it has a slightly longer case and a shorter neck, giving it greater powder capacity and thus higher velocity--which was necessary to meet military penetration requirements at longer range. NOTE: 223 Remington ammunition may be safely fired in any 5.56x45mm chamber, but 5.56x45mm ammunition SHOULD NOT BE USED in a 223 chamber! Standard is a 55-grain bullet at 3240 feet per second, with lighter bullets somewhat faster and heavier bullets a bit slower. The 223 is the most popular 22 centerfire today, and possiby the most popular centerfire cartridge. Ammunition choices are legion, as are choices in firearms. The 223 is an accurate cartridge ideally suited for varmint hunting out to beyond 300 yards, and with heavy-bullet loads designed for the purpose is used effectively by many deer hunters. — Craig Boddington
