The Schrade Compact Axe might be the perfect survival tool you need for camping or wilderness survival. It pairs a function, full size camp axe with a fully extending 12.5" folding saw tucking away inside the handle. It's a sturdy, simple axe with a titanium coated 3Cr13 stainless steel blade measuring 3.3". The glass fiber filled plastic shaft has adequate grip for both the axe and saw, which disappears in the handle when it's not being used. Be sure to put the nylon sheath on the axe head before attempting to saw.
