Product Summary

Glock 21 45 ACP Gen3with 13 Rounds Magazine Used- Polce Trade in

Good condition Police trade in gun. May have typical holster wear and handling marks as typicalwith police trade in's. We are displaying a typical picture of a Glock 21.

The 3rd Generation Glock 21 is one of, if not the, most prolific pistols in the United States. The main reasons for this are its wide use by police agencies, as well as it being chambered in .45, which is in wide use by local, state, and federal agencies. The reasons those agencies choose the Glock also makes it a good choice for those who can legally own and carry firearms. It is a well made weapon, light, easy to shoot well, and will not break the bank. The refurbished pistols offer an even better deal to those who want to try a Glock, or are in need of a good pistol, without having to pay new-pistol prices.

The Glock 21 is a full-size pistol with a 4.6 in. barrel, weighs 22.92 oz. (650 g) empty, and a magazine capacity of 15 rounds, where legal. This particular pistol is a 3rd generation pistol, which means it has the finger grooves on the grip. Some like these, others don't. It does not bear on the function of the pistol, although some find them uncomfortable.

Caliber Dictionary

The Below Information Has Been Provided From Our Gun Caliber Dictionary And Is Meant For Informational Purposes Only. It Is Not Intended to Describe The Unique Specifications For This Ammunition.
The 45 ACP (45 Auto) was designed by John Browning in 1905 for his prototype semiautomatic pistol that eventually became the legendary Colt 1911, using a .452-inch bullet. Browning proposed a 200-grain bullet; U.S. Army Ordnance, smarting from reports of poor performance of the 38 Long Colt in the Philippines, increased bullet weight to 230 grains for greater stopping power...and the 45 ACP as it is today was adopted in 1911. It remains an iconic and popular handgun cartridge for personal defense and competition, and was used by the U.S. military in submachine guns (Thompson and M3) through the 1970s. Although largely replaced by the 9mm for military use and the 9mm and/or 40 S&W in the law enforcement community, the 45 ACP is still used by the U.S. military and numerous law enforcement agencies in various applications. The standard load remains a 230-grain bullet at 780 to 850 fps, but lighter, faster bullets from 165 to 200 grain, delivering a bit less recoil, are also available.  — Craig Boddington
