The SR-15 Mod 2 is Knight's Armament Company's modern rifle to the ever improving platform based of the original Eugene Stoner design. The lower receiver features ambidextrous controls for all shooters and features a smooth, 2-stage, match trigger. As per most standard KAC rifles, it features the very popular, combat proven, collapsible SOPMOD stock with storage compartments. Furthermore, it also features a lightweight but very stiff, free floating URX 4 hand guard for mounting various optics and accessories allowing the shooter to adapt to any situation. Lastly, the rifle features a 16" chrome-lined, hammer forged barrel with a proprietary mid-length gas system for reliability and durability.
