The KX5 muzzle device is pinned and welded into place in order to achieve the 16" overall length required by the ATF. The upper receiver is adorned with a 15" NSR free floating KeyMod handguard, and a 30 round magazine. This rifle features a Magpul MIAD pistol grip and STR collapsible stock.
