The EAA Tanfoglio Witness PS has three safeties. A manual safety operated by thumb a firing pin block that will only allow the firing pin to contact the round when the trigger is fully depressed which prevents accidental discharge if the gun is dropped and a half cock safety. All of these features help to make this a safer gun to carry loaded.

The Witness "PS" blends many of Tanfoglio's outstanding design features to produce one of the finest polymer frame defensive pistols ever made. The Witness PS is a hybrid design, using a full size polymer frame. The frame has steel stress and wear points imbedded in the Polymer molded frame. This pistol features a 4.5" Hard Chrome plated barrel, blue finish slide and special low profile snag resistant sights. All Witness PS models feature an integral M-1913 rail for mounting lights and lasers.

Note there are two series of Witness full size Polymer frame pistols the "P" and the "PS". This is the PS which has a slightly smaller more comfortable frame. The PS have interchangeable barrel options. A 9mm barrel, slide and magazine are available for the importer.. The Witness P and PS magazines do not interchange.

In 2005 EAA introduced the new "P" model which has a wider and longer magazine well to accommodate .45 ACP and 10 MM ammunition and renamed the original model "PS" for polymer Slim. Both pistols are still in current production with many shooters preferring the slimmer design of the PS model. This has led to some confusion when ordering spare magazines. The correct spare magazines for the PS model are listed below.
