The Rock Standard compact size Pistol built in traditional classic Series 70 design and delivered with our top Quality Production and Engineering Standard. Chambered in 9mm with 3.63” button rifled Barrel. The Slide has a rear Slant Serration and with traditional Roll Over Ejection Port. Slide and Frame are Stainless and all exposed Parts are matte chrome SAE 4140 high grade Steel. Front / Rear Sight and internal Parts are Parkerized finish. Smooth, angled snag free low profile Rear Sight allow for quick draw in fast need situation. Includes skeletonize Hammer, Beavertail Grip Safety, and conventional safety lock. Grips is a double diamond checkered wood. Rock Island Armory Pistol, comes with crisp factory 4 to 6 lbs. trigger pull. Making it a great experience right out of the box.

The 9mm Luger (9X19mm, Parabellum, P08) was developed in Germany in 1902. Widely used in both world wars, it is the most popular pistol cartridge in the world, now widely used by innumerable law enforcement agencies and militaries (including our own) in both pistols and submachineguns. The controversy over its "stopping power" will never go away, but its attribute is that it is much easier to shoot accurately than larger cartridges with greater power...but more recoil. Advancements in bullet design for law enforcement and personal defense have narrowed the gap considerably. The 9mm Luger is a world standard, chambered by virtually all makers of semiautomatic pistols, with a myriad of factory loads.
