The PVS14 is the standard-issue U.S. military night vision optic and used by special ops throughout the world. These units are of the highest quality in optics, design and functionality. The PVS14-3WHPT can be mounted on a helmet for hands free use, behind weapon optics or simply as a handheld device. The PVS-14-3WHPT provides night vision aid to one of the operators eyes, leaving the other to retain its natural night vision. This is important when operating in changing light conditions in the field. Allowing the user to go back and forth between aided and unaided vision. Featuring IR on and low battery indicators; manual brightness control and auto-shut off function that shuts down the device within seconds when accidentally exposed to bright light; integrated IR illuminator for use in extremely low light conditions. Includes AA battery, neck cord, head mount assembly 1, demist shield, soft carry case, lens tissue and a user manual.
