M57 60mm Mortar complete with sight Deactivated copy of US M2
Very good condition, ideal for reactivating with a proper ATF From-1
The Yugoslavian 60mm M57 Mortar was generally based on the design of the US 60mm M2 Mortar.
The breech piece, which is threaded into the barrel, has a ball fitting to mate into a rectangular base plate.
The mortar is a conventional drop-fired mortar with a fixed firing pin.
The bipod has a cross-leveling gear operated by a threaded sleeve between one leg and the elevating gear.
This is attached to the yoke, which carries the traversing screw and the shock-absorbing spring cylinders.
The 60mm M57 is fitted with the NSB-3 sight with Radium night illumination.
Although this mortar has been deactivated, it is a good candidate to reactivate if you file a form 1 with the ATF first and pay the $200.00 tax stamp.

I can assist you in getting the Frorm-1 and once you have the Form-1, I can provide you technical help to restore the unit. I can sell you a drop in fix. All you need to do after you have the ATF Form-1 is to remove a small pin in the tube and literally drop in the repair part that has a firring pin in it. No need to repair the de-milling cut at the bottom of the tube, The drop in fix covers the de-milling hole and provides a new firring pin.
