SST (Super Shock Tipped): Combines deadly Hornady performance with a higher ballistic coefficient than most hunting bullets. Hornady engineers started using the proven design of the InterLock bullet. With its jacket strengthened in critical areas, the SST delivers controlled expansion for superior weight retention. That means it delivers a massive shock for a clean, quick kill.

Premium polymer tip - The sharp point increases the SST's ballistic coefficient, making it faster and flatter shooting. On impact, the tip also initiates controlled expansion at all velocities.



The interlock ring - Ensures the core and jacket remain locked solid during expansion, so the SST retains the mass and energy needed for dramatic wound channels.
