Here is where the M-1500's acclaimed trigger comes into its own. Mounted in a solid investment-cast steel housing, the Howa trigger is acknowledged to be among the best in the business. A two-position sliding safety blocks both the sear and the trigger, letting you load and unload single rounds while the safety stays fully engaged.

The non-binding bolt completely encloses the cartridge head and guarantees faultless extraction every time. The action rings are drilled and tapped for standard scope mounts.

The Varminter Supreme stock is designed with a raised comb and rollover cheekpiece, a full pistol-grip with palm-filling swell, and a broad beavertail forend. Beneath the free-floated barrel, six longitudinal slots are milled into each stock for efficient cooling.
