American Built Arms is proud to introduce the AB ARMS LTF Hand guard in Flat Dark Earth. - This hand guard is a 2 piece design with upper and lower heat shields for maximum cooling. - Designed and engineered to accommodate gas piston or direct gas impingement systems. - For carbine-length AR15/M16 Rifles - Purpose built ergonomic hand grip area with hand stop and heavy texture. - Proprietary formula of heat stabilized nylon reinforced with high strength fibers. - 1/2 the weight of aluminum hand guards - Modular design will accommodate Mil-Spec rail systems for a truly customized weapon system - Flat Dark Earth color is matched to the Magpul® product line to provide a seamless color match between parts. The LTF Hand Guard has the exact same specs as the MOD1 excluding the top rail. There is no rail section on the top of the LTF Hand Guard. This allowed for a decrease in weight. This also allowed for forward mounting of scopes and sights on the receiver with no interference.
