ASP Rigid cuffs, handcuffs or restraints have a metal block or bar between the cuffs. Although they are bulkier to carry they permit several variations in cuffing techniques while offering another level in security. Rigid cuffs can be used one-handed to apply pain-compliance/control techniques that are not workable with the chain type of cuff.
