Features:

Automatic Ejectors - A strong spring-loaded hammer blow, fires the Browning ejectors. The sharp hammer strike gives you more forceful ejection than the push imparted on competitor's ejectors.
The automatic ejectors eject fired shells when the breech is opened. Unfired shells are elevated for easy removal.

Barrels-All Citori 12 gauge shotguns feature back-bored barrels and the Invector-Plus choke tube system.

Chrome Chambers-All Citori shotguns feature chrome-plated chambers for corrosion resistance.

Hinge Pin-The Citori is the only over and under available to feature a transverse-mounted, full-width tapered locking bolt. The tapered locking bolt engages a full-width tapered recess in the rear barrel lugs. The taper allows the bolt to seat deeper over years of wear. It's the reason people say a Browning wears in, not out.
Additionally, the full-width locking bolt and massive lugs ensure true barrel alignment and resist barrel torque, the natural tendency for the action to open during the shot.
On the Citori, a full-width hinge pin extends from one side of the receiver to the other for maximum strength.

Recoil Pad-Trap models utilize a comfortable ventilated recoil pad.

Safety-Manual thumb safety, combined with barrel selector mechanism.

Safety Lock-All Browning firearms are shipped with a free trigger lock, cable lock, padlock, or chamber lock to assist you in the safe storage of your firearm.

Trigger – The hammers are powered by a strong coil-type mainspring, which gives certain primer ignition. With the barrel selector, you can choose which barrel fires on the first pull of the single trigger. The second pull fires the remaining barrel. This model is supplied with the Triple Trigger System: three interchangeable trigger shoes, a wide checkered surface, a wide smooth surface, and a narrow smooth canted surface.

Rib Selection: The XT Trap utilizes high-post ribs keeping the shooter's head high on the stock, allowing a fast, unobstructed view of the target. A ventilated side rib helps cool hot barrels in the heat of competition. Some shooters like the slightly reduced wind resistance-a special advantage in windy weather.

Stocks and Forearms-The semi-beavertail forearm used on the trap gun provide a full grip for steady control over more predictable leads.

Caliber Dictionary

The Below Information Has Been Provided From Our Gun Caliber Dictionary And Is Meant For Informational Purposes Only. It Is Not Intended to Describe The Unique Specifications For This Ammunition.
12 gauge is the most popular and useful shotgun gauges ever made. Suitable for everything from doves to geese. With sporting, military and law enforcement applications. Available in 2 ¾”, 3” and 3 ½”. The magnum lengths are generally preferred for waterfowl and turkey. Most major manufacturers produce guns and ammunition in a very wide septum for 12 gauge. Loads from ¾ oz. to 2 oz. are common with 1 1/8 oz Low base and 1 ¼ oz being the most common loadings. Target loads are normally around 1150 to 1200 FPS with High velocity lead loads tuning up 1350 FPS. Steel waterfowl loads tend to be loaded faster around 1500 FPS to compensate lower density shot. While the 2 ¾” loading is still the most popular ammunition made, nearly all current production guns have 3”or 3 ½” chambers. The shorter ammunition can be safely fired in longer chambers, but not all magnum semiautomatics will function with shorter shotshells. — Craig Boddington
