A large-diameter Turbohead, a Total Internal Reflection (TIR) lens, and anultra high-output LED emitter come together in the M3LT to produce apowerful, focused beam suitable for spotlight/searchlight applications yetthe light is less than 9 inches long. The high-performance LED is virtuallyimmune to failure since there is no filament to burn out or break, and itprovides a far longer runtime per set of batteries when compared toincandescent lights of similar lumen output. It comes standard with ahigh-strength aerospace aluminum body with a Mil-Spec hard-anodized finishfor extreme durability. Also features an ergonomic CombatGrip configurationsuited for flashlight/handgun techniques and provides a secure hold withcold, wet, or gloved hands. The M3LT features tactical switching apushbutton switch that (1) is located on the tailcap for fast, no-lookaccess and for use with flashlight/handgun techniques, and (2) alwaysactivates maximum light output when fully depressed. The M3LT-S versionincludes a high-output strobe mode for special tactical applications or forsignaling purposes. The strobe is activated by pressing the tailcap switchrapidly three times.
