The Tactical model is a very light, balanced, durable and accurate rifle. It is built for professionals and for those who appreciate a nicely appointed rifle.The16" barrel for the tactical is machined from 4150 CrMV and nitride treated. The barrel has a M4 extension and the profile is a modified pencil to improve heat dissapation. The bolt carrier group is full auto rated mil spec and nickel boron coated to allow lubeless operation in less than ideal environments. The trigger is the enhanced single stage that breaks crisply at 5.5 lbs with a very short reset. The Tactical comes nicely appointed with some great furniture including a 6 position Rodgers Super stoc, A2 style pistol grip, flat trigger guard, and a TROY 13" Alpha handguard. The Tactical weighs in heavy on features and light on the scales at only 6.1 lbs.
