The RAS-12 is an innovative, extraordinary system that provides users with the ability to shoot RAS-12 12 gauge ammunition from an AR-10 style rifle. The free floating barrel and piston driven operating system maintains the accuracy and reliability that AR-10 rifles are famous for, and a six position collapsible stock is ideal for breaching teams and shooters of small stature. Recoil is effectively tamed with the Scorpion muzzle brake.
The RAS-12 is only compatible with RAS-12 ammunition. Feeding from SR-25/DPMS magazines with proprietary follows, the RAS-12 polymer cased ammunition has all of the functionality of the legacy 12 gauge shotshell, with additional payload capabilities. The RAS-12 only fires the RAS-12 ammunition.
