The Daniel Defense M4 V1 is the original Daniel Defense Rifle, built with a Cold Hammer Forged barrel with a carbine length gas system and a M4 profile. It utilizes a 12" FSP DD Rail which allows for the mounting of a weapon light or aiming device to be mounted ahead of the DD A1.5 front sight. This allows for optimal ergonomics and a clear line of sight with less barrel shadow. It also include a M16 profile, Mil-Spec MP tested, chrome lined, bolt carrier group with a properly staked gas key. The V1 includes the newest DD pistol grip, vertical grip, and stock featuring glass filled polymer with Soft Touch over-molding mounted on a 6 position mil-spec buffer tube. The Daniel Defense V1 is ready for any situation the shooter may encounter. This model is California legal with factory installed Bullet Button.
