The Daiwa Lexa 400 Casting Reel delivers all of the performance and handling features of a traditional baitcasting reel - now with increased line capacity and power for fishing bigger baits and targeting bigger fish. The Lexa 400 even has the wherewithal and corrosion resistance to handle heavy duty saltwater fishing. It dishes out a hefty 25lbs of max drag, and can hold up to 300yds of 55lb braid (that's over 100yds more than the 300-size Lexa). Its advanced Magforce Cast Control System also provides increased casting distance and control, and the cast control is externally adjustable so you can make quick changes based on conditions and lure selection.

The Lexa 400’s high-grade aluminum frame and side plates also form a sturdy foundation that won’t flex under heavy torque, all while remaining comfortable to palm and fish. Available in both a high speed 6.3:1 and blazing fast 7.1:1 gear ratio, the Daiwa Lexa 400 Casting Reel can pick up line in a hurry with the power and torque to tame the fish of a lifetime.
