9MM RIMFIRE
The 9mm Rimfire is a rimfire shotgun shell developed in Europe for what were called "garden guns," literally for dispatching small pests in the garden. The charge weight of 1/3 ounce is extremely modest in effectiveness. In 1920 Winchester introduced the 9mm Rimfire in the Model 36 single-shot; discontinued in 1927, about 20,000 were manufactured. Fiocchi offers 9mm Rimfire shotshells. — Craig Boddington
