The Mossberg 4x4 is a bolt-action rifle first released for purchased in the United States by Mossberg & Sons, Inc., in the year 2008. Based on the needs of the purchaser, it may be chambered for, but not limited to; .270 Win, .30-06 Sprg or .300 Win Mag. Potential buyers have the option to choose the style of the weapon, by selecting whether they prefer a synthetic, laminate or walnut stock. Weighing in at 8 pounds fully loaded, the Mossberg 4x4 uses a box magazine capable of holding 3 magnum rounds or 4 standard hunting rounds. Standard features include a muzzle-brake, recoil pad and a 2 and a half pound trigger pull with a 2 position trigger block safety.
