The Ruger LCP II is a rugged, compact, comfortable pocket pistol chambered in 380 ACP . The textured polymer grip frame provides a comfortable, secure grip with a larger grip surface for better distribution of the recoil forces. This lightweight pistol utilizes a 2.75" alloy steel barrel with 1:16 RH twist rate that fits seamlessly inside the through-hardened alloy steel slide. The fixed front and rear sights are integral to the slide while the hammer is recessed within the slide. Safety features include bladed trigger safety; neutrally balanced sear with significant engagement and strong spring tension; and hammer catch to help prevent the hammer from contacting the firing pin unless the trigger is pulled. The LCP II comes with a finger grip extension floorplate that can be added to magazine for added comfort and grip. It includes 6-round magazine. This exclusive model has a silver Savage Stainless Cerakote finish on the frame and slide.

Caliber Dictionary
The Below Information Has Been Provided From Our Gun Caliber Dictionary And Is Meant For Informational Purposes Only. It Is Not Intended to Describe The Unique Specifications For This Ammunition.
Designed by John Browning, the 380 ACP (9mm Browning Short, 9x17) was introduced by Colt in 1908 and by FN in Europe in 1912. The 380 ACP is much more potent than the 32 ACP and is essentially the world-standard personal defense cartridge for pocket and purse-sized semiautomatic pistols. Bullet diameter is 9mm (.356-inch) with case length of .68-inch. Standard bullet weights vary, but most common are bullets of 85 to 95 grains at velocities from around 900 to 1000 feet per second. More important is recent bullet technology, with modern expanding bullets offering greatly enhanced performance over the full metal jacket bullets of John Browning's day. 380 ACP ammunition is offered by all makers of pistol ammo, and the cartridge is chambered by virtually all makers of small to mid-sized pistols. The 380 ACP is comfortable to shoot in medium-sized pistols, but the smallest 380s currently available can be snappy for inexperienced shooters. — Craig Boddington
