Product Summary

Beretta Rifle TIKKA T3X TAC A1 6.5 Creedmoor Barrel 24" Barrel

The Tikka T3x is the next generation of the renowned T3 rifle. These new T3x rifles are built to the same standards that so many have come to rely on from the original T3, and continue to boast a hammer forged barrel, sturdy stocks, and smooth bolt actions. They still offer a 3-shot sub-MOA accuracy guarantee right out of the box, and will continue to represent the great value of the Tikka rifle line. Some new features that set the T3x apart from its older brother include the following:

Modular synthetic stock allows the pistol grip to be changed out for a more personalized and comfortable fit
Improved asymmetrical grip pattern and shape that will better accommodate grip in any condition
Upgraded recoil pad to mitigate felt recoil
Foam insert to lessen noise that is produced from the stock (not available in models with adjustable cheek piece)
Redesigned ejection port that creates easier single feeding through the ejection port
Improved rail attachment via an extra screw placement on top of the receiver for sturdier rail placement
A robust metallic bolt shroud to cover and shield the rear of the bolt body and firing pin
Steel recoil lug to decrease deformation even in larger calibers compared the aluminum ones in use in T3 rifles
Tikka has always been considered one of the best options when considering a rifle, and the T3x continues and enhances this legacy.

In addition to the regular T3x features, the Tac A1 also features:
A 2-Stage Trigger
Includes 2 magazines and an additional 1 magazine available by mail when you register the rifle with Beretta
Includes Muzzle Brake
Safety that features a button that allows user to unlock bolt while rifle is on safe
Caliber: 6.5 Creedmoor
Rifle Overall Length: 43.8"
Action: Bolt
Trigger: 2-Stage Trigger
Rifle Barrel Length: 24"
Scope Mount: Picatinny Rail

Caliber Dictionary

The Below Information Has Been Provided From Our Gun Caliber Dictionary And Is Meant For Informational Purposes Only. It Is Not Intended to Describe The Unique Specifications For This Ammunition.
The 6.5 Creedmoor was introduced by Hornady in 2008. Uniquely, it was designed for accuracy with long-range competition in mind. Using a 308 Winchester (30 TC, 300 Savage) case shortened to 1.920 inches, it will feed through the shortest existing bolt actions, but remains supersonic to well beyond 1000 yards. Standard velocity is a 140-grain .264-inch bullet at 2820 fps, also making it an effective but mild-recoiling medium-range hunting cartridge. The 6.5 Creedmoor was introduced with little fanfare, but after it started winning matches shooters took notice. This is an unusual phenomenon for a cartridge to suddenly "take off" years after its introduction, but that's the story of the 6.5 Creedmoor--after about 2016 it became one of the most-talked-about cartridges, with both rifle and ammunition offerings expanding rapidly. — Craig Boddington

I purchased this rifle based on the reputation of Tikka firearms. I have never been a band wagoneer always choosing a little bit different flavor of caliber, ie. a wildcat, but I bought the 6.5 Creedmoor. I bought this rifle because I don’t always have time to reload and wanted something to buy accurate, off the shelf ammo to practice and if it shot good enough, participate in last minute matches. I mounted my new Nightforce today and took it to the range. Cleaned barrel real quick and first 5 shot string went into 3/8”. Then proceeded to fire 5 then clean for 20 rounds total. The gun is grouping consistently in the .3’s . It will only get better. Thanks Tikka for a well thought out and executed rifle. Spend the extra money people and get the Tikka. Buy once cry once.
