Taylor/Pietta 1851 Navy Sheriff .36 Caliber Brass Frame 5" Barrel

Taylor/Pietta 1851 Navy Sheriff .36 Caliber Brass Frame 5" Barrel

The 1851 Navy revolver, produced from 1851 to 1872, was the most famous model of the cap-and-ball era for good reasons. This 6-shot offers perfect balance, precise aim, and functional dependability. This 1851 navy brass model features a brass frame, blued parts, brass backstrap and triggerguard, octagonal barrel, and an walnut Navy size grip. The .44 caliber model includes a rebated cylinder and the .36 model includes a standard Navy cylinder. The brass parts can be kept polished with metal cleaners like Flitz. Taylor's does not recommend using conversion cylinders in brass frame models..
