From the Remington Law Enforcement Series of shotguns comes the Model 870P MAX. This Tactical Shotgun houses twin non-binding action bars for smooth operation. The 870P has been optimized and taken to the next level with a precision machined ordinance steel receiver and a breech block that locks into the barrel extension for unparalleled strength. This 870P MAX features an 18" barrel with an improved cylinder choke and a 3" chamber that can handle any 2-3/4" or 3" shells and a two shell magazine extension. The magazine holds 6 rounds plus an additional round in the chamber gives you a total capacity of 7 hard hitting shotgun rounds. A Wilson Combat Ghost Ring rear sight lines up with an XS Sight Systems front post sight to keep you solidly on target. Remington included a Davis Speedfeed IV-S pistol grip stock and a Surefire Tactical Forend. The flashlight mounted to the forend can be controlled with either a pressure pad or toggle switch.
