Product Summary

New for 2020 — A new stock feel and fit is here. All new composite stock and forearm, deeply blued steel receiver and barrel, Invector Plus choke system. The Inflex recoil pad system offers the ability to change length of pull.

An all-new look for the most proven pump. There has never been a BPS like the new 2020 models. The stock and forearm are totally redesigned for better feel and handling. The parallel heel/toe section that makes it easy for a “professional gunsmith” to cut the stock down (up to 3/4”).

Proven performance. Many pump shotguns are made for entry-level shooters. The new BPS is made for entry and exit. It is the pump shotgun made for the generations. If you demand the highest quality and reliability from your pump shotgun look no further. The BPS uses a rugged, machined steel receiver, steel internal components and twin steel action bars for long-lasting, bind-free, pump-action performance.

The floating rib is a key advantage. The floating rib allows the rib and barrel to expand at different rates and move independently of each other. The floating rib prevents the point of impact shifts caused by barrel heating. The height of the rib gives a good view of your target.

Working gun is an understatement. With their additional shot payload, 10 gauge shotguns are still the choice for high-flying geese and big, strutting toms. The BPS is totally reliable and durable. The blued finish on steel parts -- and there are a great many of them -- is deep and protective.

Top and bottom of it all. Unique bottom ejection throws empty hulls straight down, out of the line of sight. The BPS, with its top tang safety, is the best pump shotgun choice for both right- and left-handed shooters.

Caliber Dictionary

The Below Information Has Been Provided From Our Gun Caliber Dictionary And Is Meant For Informational Purposes Only. It Is Not Intended to Describe The Unique Specifications For This Ammunition.
The 10 gauge has been with us since Winchester introduced it in 1887. The original black powder load was 2 7/8” long. Modern day chambers and ammunition are 3 ½” and most commonly used for waterfowl or Turkey hunting. The payload normally runs between 1 3/8 oz. and 2 3/8 oz. The 10 gauge fell out of favor when the 12 gauge was introduced but the necessity to use steel shot for waterfowl hunting revived this gauge in the longer 3 ½” version. With steel shot available up to size “T” some hunters claim to be able to down geese out to 90 yards. The 10 gauge barrel has a nominal bore diameter of: .775 inch. Ammunition is in current production in the 3 ½” length from Federal, Remington, Winchester, Heavy Shot and Estate. Available in lead or steel shot as well as other non toxic loads. — Craig Boddington
