Hogue, well known for the gun grips, has ventured into the knife world. Their first offering, the EX01 Tactical Folding Knife from their Extreme™ Series, is a rock solid entry.
Although the Extreme series features a button lock mechanism, this is a manual knife. The Extreme series is designed by Allen Elishewitz. The knives look good, they are comfortable and the function & action is beyond reproach.
The 6061 T6 aluminum handle is anodized olive green. The tanto style 154-CM stone-wash finished blade (plain) is razor sharp. The blade comes out with a refined smoothness and locks securley into place via the button lock mechanism. There is also a front mounted safety to lock the blade open even more securely. For easy carry there is also reversible pocket clip.
